As a self-taught artist, I began very young with fashion drawings. Paying attention to silhouettes and outfits, I then focused on bodies and faces. Since 2016, I have drawn inspiration from photography and gradually include my creations in the hyperrealist movement.
Fascinated about travel and the exchange between different cultures, I aim for example to transcribe in heterogeneous portraits the enigmatic beauty and the diversity of expression of the human face. I like to observe a photograph for a long time to capture as much detail as possible. Through this process, I want to send something authentic, tangible back to paper, and thus restore the sensitivity and emotions that emerge from an image.
I make my drawings using graphite, charcoal and black chalk pencils. My models are sometimes taken from personal or borrowed photographs (to which I add or replace certain details), sometimes from photomontages that I imagine beforehand.
Welcome to my world!
